Training for African healthcare teams and cooperation with existing health facilities would also be part of the project.<\/p><p>Care for children living with the effects of noma is an intended priority. The centre would form part of the Roger Milla Program's broader work on noma prevention and access to safe drinking water.<\/p><p><strong>What stage has the project reached?<br \/><\/strong><\/p><p>A location in the Yaound\u00e9-Nsimalen area of Cameroon is being considered. The centre is still in the planning stage. The site, medical programme, approvals, final budget and timetable have yet to be confirmed.<\/p><p>The next step is to carry out the necessary medical, technical, land, environmental and financial studies.
